Administration team

Stott + Hoare employs a team of administrators with significant experience and qualifications to ensure the company's accounting and financial reporting are compliant with professional standards.  The Administration Team recognises that constant attention to cash flow, payments to suppliers, payments from customers, payroll, inventory management and taxation is paramount to ensure the business trades profitably.

Joe Loader - Finance Manager

BComm, BA

Joe is currently working in the role as Finance Manager. His tasks include analysing financial data, monitoring cash-flow, overseeing debtor and creditor activity and preparing monthly management reports.

Joe's effort on the finance side of the business has assisted Stott + Hoare in maintaining and surpassing the desired profitability, liquidity and efficiency ratios.  He works closely with Jim and the admin team to ensure the smooth progression of financial affairs.

Scott Seddon  – Senior Inventory Controller

Scott is the Senior Inventory controller of a busy team overseeing the large volume of products from IBM, HP, Lenovo and other manufacturers that are channelled through Stott + Hoare to customers. His tasks include day-to-day inventory activity, organising our dispatch requirements, monitoring work processes to enhance effectiveness and ensuring optimal work-flow in the Stott + Hoare warehouse. Scott has a comprehensive understanding, based on years of experience in his current role, of what is required to excel in a fast-paced, high-volume inventory environment.

Darren Taylor - Inventory Controller

Darren has a strong customer service background, having worked in service industries throughout his career.  He has over 3 years’ experience in logistics and Occupational Health and Safety.  His strong interest in computing and operations strengthens his performance as part of the Stott + Hoare inventory team.

Darren’s day-to-day inventory activities include receiving goods, arranging the dispatch of on-time deliveries and participating in department stock takes. He liaises with the Sales Team to ensure our customers receive equipment in a timely fashion.  Darren's excellent attention to detail ensures the efficiency of the department, and helps Stott + Hoare consistently meet its customers' requirements.

Grant Laidler - Inventory Controller

Grant has worked across the world in logistics, warehousing and customer service, and he his extensive overseas  experience and knowledge benefits Stott+ Hoare's inventory team.

Grant's main daily focus is looking after our dispatch requirements, which ranges from preparing the sales order for delivery, scheduling our driver's delivery run for the day and arranging with selected courier companies to deliver on time. His target is to ensure our customer's orders
arrive to them on time - every time.

Mark Murphy - Inventory Controller / Company Courier

Mark is very personable and has a clear understanding of the importance of excellent customer service. His role is predominantly driving the Stott + Hoare Mercedes Benz van and delivering goods to customers. He also assists our Inventory Team in receipting in of goods, stock control and dispatch.

Mark has over 20 years of experience in Logistics and Inventory and is a great asset to the expanding Stott + Hoare Team.

Jackie Smith - Administration and HR Manager

Jackie currently works in the role as Administration Manager and HR Manager having previously served the business with distinction in the role as Credit Controller.  Her tasks include overseeing the accounts payable, managing the admin team, monitoring staff training activity and administering the company's HR.  Jackie is a consistent high achiever at Stott + Hoare taking pride in each activity she takes on.  Her commitment to the team and the high-level of work she contributes is greatly valued by all staff in the day-to-day operations of the business.

Anna Su – Accounts Assistant

BA, Master of Accounting

Anna brings to Stott + Hoare her experience in financial year end auditing as well as several years’ in corporate accounting. Anna is focused in her desire to develop a career in accounting, and has completed her studies as a CPA.

Anna works closely with Stott + Hoare’s Finance Manager to maintain a high quality financial position for the company, and assists in ensuring Stott + Hoare’s accounting practices operate within established accounting guidelines.

Amanda Kelly - Credit Controller

Amanda is currently working in the role as Credit Controller, having significantly contributed in other admin areas at Stott + Hoare over several years.  Her tasks include distributing invoice and statement documents to current customers, processing credit applications for new customers, performing bank reconciliations and assisting to ensure each debtor balance conforms to the standard Stott + Hoare expect.  Since Amanda has taken on the role as Credit Controller, the business has seen records set for net debt outstanding.  Amanda has a sound grasp of the importance of cash-flow in helping a business perform optimally and she works closely with Joe and the sales admin team to help maintain the level expected.

Aimee Warner - Receptionist

Aimee came to Stott + Hoare with a background in reception and administration and has completed a certificate in professional training.

Aimee is the first point of contact at Stott + Hoare, her role includes operating the switchboard and greeting customers face to face. Some of Aimee’s main tasks include daily administration duties, tracking of all company emails and helping maintain our large customer database.

Mark Hubbard - QA Consultant

Mark’s experience in maintaining and auditing Quality Management Systems spans nearly 20 years. Initially implementing ISO 9001 in a pharmaceutical warehouse environment in the early nineties, Mark has since carried out over 1,000 external quality system audits in various businesses, as well as OH&S audits in various industries in WA. Mark gives the Stott +Hoare Team an extensive knowledge base of quality systems from many businesses.

Mark facilitates the ongoing compliance with ISO 9001 which Stott + Hoare has proudly maintained. Through improving systems and procedures, to auditing the everyday services Stott + Hoare provide, Mark is consistently ensuring best-practice is maintained in all services and products Stott +Hoare offers.

Mark’s nearly 20 years experience across a diverse portfolio of businesses gives Stott +Hoare a wide range of quality systems methodology which assists the business in thinking outside the square and reaching new best practice standards.
