On Thursday 15 December, several hundred Stott + Hoare clients, suppliers and staff celebrated Christmas in style at Perth’s Old Swan Brewery.

Guests were quietly enjoying a balmy summer evening, refreshments and some fine food when to their surprise, Jim Loader introduced a ‘special guest’ – Arnold Schwarzenegger as ‘The Terminator’.

Arnie’s hilarious routine had the crowd in stitches, and many took the opportunity to have their picture taken with a Hollywood legend.

Only later was it revealed that ‘Arnie’ was Ben Price, one of Australia’s leading impersonators and comedians, when he returned to soundly ‘roast’ a number of key Stott + Hoare staff (including Jim Loader), and entertain everyone with a range of extraordinary impersonations including Dr Phil, Kevin Rudd, Jamie Oliver, Tom Cruise, Austin Powers, Sean Connery, John Cleese, George W Bush, Barack Obama, Tom Cruise, Prince Charles, Owen Wilson, Donkey, Shrek, Puss in Boots, Homer Simpson, Mr. Burns…and more.

“Although I may never forgive Ben for his quips about my stature, he certainly left everyone in a jovial frame of mind to continue enjoying a great Christmas Party in a fabulous and hospitable venue,” said Stott + Hoare’s Jim Loader.

“2011 was a fantastic year for Stott + Hoare, capped off when we were named among Australia’s most successful IT resellers in the CRN magazine Fast50 in December.

“That achievement was due to the incredibly hard work of the Stott + Hoare team and our vendors and suppliers – and, of course, the support of our valued clients.

“Our Christmas Party was a great opportunity for Stott + Hoare to thank everyone for their efforts throughout the year.”
